Digital Marketing Paid Internship

Fast growing, Tampa Ad Agency is looking for Social Media & Digital Marketing Interns for their digital marketing team.

Candidates with coursework, experience and interest in marketing, advertising, production, digital, branding and/or social media strategy are preferred. Design intern candidates should have a background in graphic design and have skills in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with Digital Marketing team to refine social media strategy and best practices
  • Assist in managing social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn) and monthly calendars to ensure content is timely, engaging and relevant
  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports to track growth and success of campaigns
  • Keep up to date on new social media trends and adapt accordingly
  • Identify influencers and leaders and engage them in brand activities
  • Research, report and deliver insight about emerging digital marketing solutions that can improve performance, processes, and services for our clients

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to take initiative, employ good judgement and manage projects
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Exceptional ability to manage details
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to meet deadlines and to anticipate next steps or needs
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Be available for at least 20 hours a week
  • Understands and can utilize marketing platforms, digital media and web/social media management and measurement tools (Hootsuite, Google Analytics, Microsoft Excel, etc.)
  • Adobe Creative Suite experience is a plus
